On a whim, I threw on a “Weird Al” Yankovic playlist. Turns out, it was the perfect balance of good tunes, nostalgia and laughs I needed. As many people know, “Weird Al” makes a point of getting permission for his song parodies from the artists. Due to American copyright law, this is a courtesy “Weird Al” doesn’t have to extend.
