Cool, but without the woodsmoke smell, it’s just not a fireplace to me.
Dumbass idea. Carbon monoxide is still generated when the fuel is burned. Chimneys aren’t just for smoke and soot.
I love all of it! Although I don’t think I’d have much luck convincing Sir H. to paint brick or stone, ever. We just looked at a house with a big river rock fireplace,and while it was nice it just felt… dirty.
