    And they make great fries…!

    • the weirdo says:

Bullcrap! French french fries suck! They just don’t fry em long enough in grease that is way too cold.
They’re called ‘french’ fries, because ‘frenched’ means ‘cut in thin, lengthwise, strips’. Apparently that’s enough reason for the whole of the anglophone world to think fries are typicaly French.
Ask anyone in that part of Europe: Belgium is the country of fries, not France. If it was decided to call them grease-fried potato’s, everyone would think they’re from Greece?

Anyway, Mt Saint Michel is a nice place. There ‘s a very deep well in which tourist toss their money. Because it ‘s accesible from the sea level, it is being looted on a daily basis by local youngsters. The sport is to aim your coins at the looters. Fun!!

I hear you can get the best fries in France, after all that’s where they originated, hence the name.

This site went from post after post of epic cleavage to pictures of fog, lame concept cars and landscape pictures that only Bob Ross would find arousing. What happened? It’s SheChive isn’t it? The old ball & chain is draggin’ you guys down. In short….more tits less aerial photography please. Thank you for your time.

I’ve actually been here, and it was incredible. I highly recommend it to anyone who is travelling in France. Not too many cool places like this in North America.

I got to visit M-S-M and St. Malo when I was a kid. I was pretty pissed about it, actually – it’s beautiful and all, but we had one day to hop on over to France (we were vacationing on the Channel Islands, visiting from the US), and I wanted to see the Normandy Beaches and ruins of the Atlantic Wall, etc., and my mom wanted to see something scenic and beautiful. She won.

Looking back on it, though … I’m really glad that I got to see it. I’d still like to see the beaches, though.

I’ll second Belgium being the land of the best french fries (and mussels, and chocolate, and beer…man, I need to start planning my next trip to Brugges).

I’ll also second the desire to climb to the top of that spire and peer down a la Assassins Creed.

  11. Meve says:

Oh god how I love my country!!!

but I agree what you call “French fries” actually come from Belgium^^

Tis… welcome back.. Hope your trek through the forest was good… Pics..?

      • HellHathNoFury says:

Went well, the pics will be on sheChive soon. I’ve been gone because I burned the last small bit of hot off my face at work the other day. Hurts like a mother, and I’ll be horribly disfigured for the rest of all time. At least I have my wonderful *cough*bullshit*cough* personality.

  13. jeff in Australia says:

    I’m glad.
    I’m sorry.

What a great last line, what a lovely dream… made me drift away with you.
      Please keep on having it.

      • bobystofly says:

        Well…

Knowing St.Malo very well, this is some shitty place you don't want to be stuck in during winter.

        Ever heard of "Cabin Fever"?

More that dream makes me thinks way to much of "Straw dogs", which can only means troubles…

        Chive on,

        Clément
