Don't know if this has already been asked, but I need an answer. Can this paraalcoholic antenna also be used as a reception enhancer? I.e., if I put one beer can behind the router and the other behind my PS3 (100 metres away = 34'000 feet) will it channel those ittle Wi-fi waves right through? Or do I need to buy a cable for this?

i did this with two soda cans (coke and sprite) for my two antennae router which is on a shelf against a wall .
apparently a lot of signal strength was wasted into that wall because i got at least a 50% boost in strength at the opposite end of my home now, and web pages like face-book and chive load much faster than they did before. i want to try taller cans like my monster coffee energy drinks come in and i will leave the bottom of the can attached next time to reflect any waves that are shooting straight up.
