    Jon! Thanks for the comments. I’ve relaly been wanting to read Collins’ new big as I do relaly love his stuff and think he’s one of the most academic and best researchers of leadership practices and part of me wonders if that chapter is in response to critics like Kahneman. It sounds relaly interesting.I agree that the broader qualities and practices of the organization are vastly more important than CEO quality, but they’re also probably somewhat correlated. The better the organization, the more attractive to a better CEO. And even then luck plays a huge role. An interesting question might be then, can luck be orchestrated? Like, can I put myself in a place to get lucky more often than other people?
