    Being the leader of ANY country is a hard bargain. You are both loved and hated to the greatest of capacities. In America, this is no different. Especially when the coming generations are not able to communicate their ideas openly or simply (in most cases) care not to. This leaves little for the government leaders to act upon.

    That last picture was a disappointment, in an otherwise terrific post. I believe it's George Washington's
    birthday. He was the greatest of presidents. He could have been king but chose not to. What a contrst to the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

        I'm a military man of 16 years and I will have to say that most of those of us with college degrees actually appreciate our current POTUS. Sadly, those without college degrees, tend to vote for the men who think they know female healthcare, cheat on their wives, and in general embarras the country with antiquated and draconian conservative politics. Ooh Ra!!! for those of us who took the time to go to college.

        Ollie North comes up with, in my opinion, a rather elegant plan. Sell some Gen-2 anti-tank missles to Iran, in turn Iran pressures Hostage Takers into releasing a few dozen Western Hostages, and funnel the proceeds into funding the Anti-Communist rebels in Nicaragua.

        I know it is day by day but you essentially got rid of it. $250 is what I use to get a month, not a day, a whole F@#king month. So if you get shot at and return effective fire you get $8.30, or if your convoy gets blown up by an I.E.D. Thats called being reactive instead of proactive and is utter bullshit.

          actually if you were half as smart as you want people to think you are and got your information straight from from DFAS not some military times tabloid you would know that if you engaged in any part of the month or were to be taken under fire in any part of the month you still ge the full 250….so all the soldiers and marines on the ground nothing really changes unless they split their time between fighting and support roles. all the new rule does is cut the navy/ chairforce from getting undeserved pay when they spend a few days in theater.

    Looking at #31, I'm just happy that those servicemen are alive and those that are in the photo look pretty happy to have met their President, that works for me. A good photo to include.

    It's our duty to respect the office of the Presidency, our choice to respect the person holding that office. When you are sworn in you swear to fulfill the orders of the CIC, not the person. I served from '93 to '99 under President Clinton, because of his cuts to the military, the service personel was cut from 2.2 million members to just 1.3 million, we couldn't even afford to fire blanks in training, we were out there yelling "bang bang" like a bunch of kids on the playground. It was pathetic. Although I dislike Obama, I respect the office he holds, and I wouldn't pass up a chance to meet him since he is the president. At least it would give me a chance to tell him what I think.

Think I'm crazy start doing your research on what's happening in his administration. Read up on UN Resolutions to take them away…which BHO is already on board with doing.
