First of all, you shouldn't be proud to be a Briton… and secondly this guy was a dumb-ass so many Indian and Australian soldiers died needlessly because of his decisions. He might have been a great writer and speech maker but as Alan Brooke said ‘Winston had 10 ideas every day, only one of which was good’.

Loved the blog I am a huge admirer of Churchill I even wrote a book about him called What Churchill Would Do, its on Kindle.
Plug aside if you havent read Churchills six Volumes of WW2 memoirs I would heartily reccomend it. I have read countless books by Churchill and written about Churchill. I have posted loads of quotes on my twitter account and have been posting a few on Google+
