  • toomanymarbles

This post would have been better if the photographer had realized from the beginning that cutting the white off the paper was a good idea.

    • Static

no kidding. and i dont know, maybe….. print a regular color picture?? these look like you ran em off on a xerox copier from 20 years ago. This thread was a total fail.

    • qbcoach9

Agreed. A little effort goes a long way.

      • Shenanigans

Why pay all that money to go all over the world, and use such crappy photos? Great idea, poor execution.

    • Taco_Depot

and if someone realized that half of these are from in front of the same building/museum in NYC. But I guess it's like art: "My child could have painted this!"… "Yes, but he didn't"

  • Csubi

#3 BFM! Can't Wait To Get My Shirt 🙂

  • Chad

    Dear Mr. or Mrs. Photographer,

Please trim the margins on your cut-outs. It ruins the illusion that you are trying to create.

    The entire Chive Community.

    • Tae

It is a very hairy arm, I would assume male or unfortunate female

      • Chad

I don't thinks it's ever safe to assume when a female may be involved. It a good way to get a slap n the face.

  • yup

half of these are at the metropolitan museum

  • JJJ

#28 – seriously? why not just put up the one of them making out ?

  • Kayvon

  • meh

This guy (or gal) really went through a lot of trouble for such a half-ass presentation. Bollocks.

  • Liong
  • Dan

Cool idea… but the white borders on the pictures are messing up the magic.

  • Hammer and tongs

You travel the whole world to undertake this project and you don’t use a colour printer or cut the edges off….?

    • Unfkngblvbl

While I agree, I don't believe he traveled the world, though…just New York, I think.

  • JasPen

This post was misleading… you said Popular Films… #6

  • Timmy

Yes, Tower Heist wasn't a popular movie, but will people stop repeating the same joke? Beating a dead horse… #6

  • Mrmin24

The trees sure grow slowly in #22

  • George Zip

    • akskhgl

      Agreed, my first thought!

    • IrishInNJ

Umm, you're kidding right? All except Tomb Raider, The Quiet American & Hangover 2 are clearly in NYC.

  • ThaGnome

  • Ackbar

    #2 My favourite.
    What are the chivers?

    • fattypratty

Definitely my favorite movie from the lot selected. Thumbs up.

  • fattypratty

Great idea. Perhaps getting a second person to take the photo so they could line the shot up better would be a wise decision.

  • Kyle

Trim the margins. I am not sure if black and white is a good idea or a bad, but you could also use photo grade paper instead of normal printer stock.

  • IrishInNJ
