Lee Majors turns 85 and ‘Out Cold’ is still his greatest film
The six million dollar man himself is celebrating his 85th birthday today. You might recognize him from shows such as The Fall Guy, Raven, and The Big Valley. But I promise you this; no Lee Majors project stands out more than the 2001 Malloy Brothers’ flick, Out Cold.
I still remember the DVD tagline on the cover reading, “Animal House on Ice.”
That’s not far off. The Casablanca inspired script follows a group of Alaskan townies trying to save their ski mountain from the money-hungry John Majors (Lee Majors.)
Led by a cast featuring Jason London, A.J. Cook, and Zach Galifianakis, Out Cold is the perfect example of raunchy ’00s comedy that we’ve come to yearn for.
