  • Jayavc

She could probably eat anything she wanted and keep thin. Making milk burns a lot of calories…just saying. Helped my wife get back into size 2 in a few months after each of our 3 children, and she wasn't producing near that much.

  • whyme1973

#5 Damn. Wouldn't mind dipping into the donations…straight from the tap.

      choose great one

  • Army Wife

I wanted to donate SO bad! At one point, when my son was a baby, we had over 500oz (at least 3 gallons) in my freezer… I couldn't find anywhere to donate to! We ended up throwing so much away. It was rather depressing.

    • tv_paul

Well at least you tried. It's the only food that you know for sure your child won't have an allergic reaction to. My wife pumped for all three of our kids so I could do the over night feedings. By the third one she was tapped out and we had supplement with formula. I don't think guys without kids understand that you have to pump not only for the child but also for your comfort.

      • Eric B

Partly true about being allergic. My son was born 3 months premature. He was born with a cow milk protein allergy (which he should outgrow). That being said, my wife's breast milk wasn't good for him as the protein transfers into it. She had to go onto a cow milk protein free diet for 2 weeks before he could start drinking it. In the meantime he had to be on a Neocate formula.

        • Lyrex

And its a whole lot cheaper than Neocate too.

    • smallchinaman

Too many women immediately go to formula due to their own vanity or laziness. I never understood that. Breast feeding is WAY difficult, but the benefit to your kid by far out weighs 12 months of discomfort. Kudos to any woman who can stick with it!

"Can you milk me?" – Robert de Niro

      hahahah lloooolllllllllllllllllsssssssssss

  • Marcus

WTF?!? Since when was there "milk banks"?

    • Anna

There are milk banks since doctors realized the amazing benefits to breast milk over Formula. Especially for premature babies. Formula does the job just fine, but breast milk is really just enough better that premature babies thrive on it. My freezer is currently full of my milk and im trying to find a place to donate. if anyone reading this needs a donation place, look up Human Milk 4 Human Babies. They will work with you and help with delivery and packing.
