If you would like to support Jamie “Doc” Sclater at his upcoming events you are welcome to attend. As of now his events are as follows.
“Sep 12-13 in Yucaipa, Ca. California Classic, a Paralympic event. Emphasis is on the 50, 100 and 200 Long Course Meters Breaststroke events. Making a run for the 50 American Record which is a 34.3 (seconds), with my personal best being a 35.0. As well, looking to drop my 100 Breaststroke time from a 1:17.5 to a 1:14 or even as low as a 1:12 if I swim it smartly enough which is the current American Record – and would ultimately put me back in the Top 15 in the World. As for the 200 Breast; if I can get under the 3 minute mark, I will be happy with that improvement from a 3:09.5”
“Sep 27th in Mission Viejo, is a Short Course Meters Master’s event where my focus will be on breaking the American Records for the 50, 100 and 200 SB9 Paralympic Short Course Meters events.”
“After this event, I will take some time off from the water – and my coaches and I will reestablish new short term training goals, competition goals and travel plans for future events.”
“The only other event I am aware of at the moment is the Paralympic Trials which will take place in Charlotte NC next summer from June 30th-July 2nd; where the Team will then be announce on July 3rd.”
