While we think that we’re pretty good as a species of keeping track of where we’ve been and what we’ve done, we’re actually not that good. Written word has only been around for 3,100 years or so, and before then we just relied on stories and pictures. Given that, it’s insane how much knowledge we’ve lost over the millennia, especially when it comes to the structures that early man left behind.
These structures are the oldest known manmade buildings and to be honest, there are a lot of questions on how they were constructed in the first place. It’s insane what early man could do with a hammer and a chisel, and some physics.
