Usually when the world thinks about Thanksgiving in North America, they think that the US has got the patent on knowing how to do it right. Sure, there’s NFL and Black Friday and a lot of excess, but don’t think that Canadians don’t know how to eat. In fact, the week leading up to Thanksgiving is one of the busiest weeks for retailers and food suppliers. Why?…Because we love to eat.
The fine folks over at Nielsen Insights, the guys who track everything, released some infographics on what Canadians spent on thanksgiving last year. According to them, last year Canadians spent $32 Million on turkey in one week alone.
Shit, that a lot of leftovers.
