When Spider-Man 3 came out I was so excited to see Venom and symbiote-suit Spider-Man, and to jump back into that world after the amazing second movie. But then the movie started, and boy was that rough. The promise of “Evil Peter Parker” was somehow translated to “he aggressively combs his hair forward, buys a black suit, and also is super into jazz”. So when we get a close-up of Peter who whispers into our ears, “Now dig on this”, followed by pelvic thrusting, it’s safe to say this movie will go down in history for all the wrong reasons.
