Oh, the things we put our mothers through as kids. Somebody has to nag the children, or who knows the sort of manners-less monsters would walk around plaguing society.
Anytime I was poorly executing a task as a child my mom would say, “Use your head and not your feet.” It came from my great grandmother, so I guess that makes it a mom-ism legacy. I hated it, but I can already hear myself saying it to little ingrates of my own some day. People are sharing their mom’s catchphrases and they pretty much capture the essence of childhood.
