For every awesome (and frankly, incredibly shitty) film that hits the theatres, there are tons of pitches and scripts that never went anywhere.
Screenwriting duo Mark Swift and Damian Shannon, known for writing the scripts for Shark Tale, Freddy vs. Jason, Friday the 13th reboot & Baywatch sent out this tweet to see what other cool, yet weird, ideas were scrapped. Some of these are fucking shame.
Incidentally, the duo’s pitch was a stealth sequel/prequel about a man, who you learn in the last scene is John Doe. Something similar to what M. Night Shamalyan did with Split.
