The virus is dwindling away and people are returning to bars and nightclubs en masse. Just last weekend, I had two friends throw up in a bar, one piss their bed, and one forcibly removed from an establishment midway through his karaoke performance (in his defense, it was a Limp Bizkit song — he was simply matching the energy a song entitled “Break Stuff” calls for). Nature is finally healing.
And as the Homosapien emerges from its shelter and returns to the wilds, we can once again bear witness to one of the most beautiful and mystifying spectacles in the whole of the animal kingdom: the human mating ritual.
