Let me pause first and say that I love this country. For all its faults, societal/social issues, economic woes, and constant bickering, this country still is the only one I want to live in. We’ve seen better days, there’s almost no doubt, but I still think it’s a land worth loving, and even fighting for if needed.
With that said please take a second to realize that some of these images, though at times self-deprecating, are posted with nothing but love. Also, and even more importantly, I realize what this weekend is really all about, and that’s remembering the fallen who gave their all for our way of life. So enjoy the freedoms you have for the brave men and women who gave all for that way of life.
Laugh, take a load off this weekend, and make sure to reflect on the brave souls we lost to make all our lives & freedoms possible.
