Released on the heels of Road Trip, Van Wilder, and the American Pie franchise, Eurotrip could have easily fallen flat and gone to the wayside. Another college party movie could’ve just been white noise. But kudos to director, Jeff Schaffer and writer/producers Alec Berg and David Mandel who realized this movie couldn’t be Road Trip (which the team had previously worked on.)
Instead we got Michelle Trachetenberg, Jeffrey Tambor, we got nude beaches, S&M Lucy Lawless, and perhaps the greatest cameo in cinema history with Matt Damon singing the now classic ballad, “Scotty Doesn’t Know.”
