One thing that gives a slight hope for humanity is that in the comment sections of Disney related posts on theChive, anytime anyone brings up The Lion King remake from last year, it’s immediately followed by people shitting on it.

I don’t even completely hate it myself (though, I’m pretty close to completely hating it), but it’s one of the most unnecessary remakes of all time. But, it made $1.6 billion, so I don’t know why I’m shellshocked they’re making a sequel, but I sure fucking am.
