We’d like to welcome Coralie Fargeat’s The Substance to this very exclusive club. The Demi Moore led horror flick was just nominated for Best Picture at the 2025 Academy Awards.

It’s still an absurd statistic that prior to this year only 6 horror films had ever been nominated in the Best Picture category with 1 winner (Silence of the Lambs.)
