Hey all, it’s been a while since I gave a State of the Union on a popular part of theCHIVE you all are very familiar with, i.CHIVE. First, I can’t recall why we called it i.CHIVE? I think it was penis-envy of Apple products maybe? Anyway, it’s now called myCHIVE, which is a better name.
But that’s not the big update.
myCHIVE has about 1.5M monthly active users. It has grown larger every year since we created it and we noticed a lot of our Chivettes gravitated toward the platform.
They created their own pages, and began creating a lot of jaw-dropping UGC as well as becoming very active in the comments. Chivettes are now, and have always been, part of our three pillars – Humor, Hotness, and Humanity.
