It’s Friday here at theCHIVE HQ and I’ve been going through old photos of our happy hours to pass the time. If you’re one of the 5M+ new visitors to theCHIVE this week, we allow all veterans, active duty, first responders, and cancer survivors to pass in and out of theCHIVE HQ on Fridays as they please, no RSVP necessary. theCHIVE office is working remotely for now.
Another fun fact about theCHIVE and Chive Nation – When times get tough, we traditionally go on offense. I believe that’s a hallmark of a great community. That mentality has imbued itself into our charity efforts through the years. In difficult times saying “Just hold the line!” doesn’t cut it for us. And I certainly don’t know how that mentality is helpful when it comes to charity.
For example, when we do a flash campaign the Chivers’ giving velocity accelerates after the goal is hit. According to GoFundMe they have no other use cases of that ever happening anywhere else.
