For two years now, I’ve received an email almost everyday from our Calgary Chivers asking when we were going to make it to Calgary, eh? The meetup had become red on my ledger and we finally set a date.
After the event sold out in minutes flat, we knew there was something big waiting for us in Calgary. Our Canadian mascot, Carmen Dickman, even sped up her move from California to Austin so she could return to her homeland. We also somehow managed to secure distribution of KCCO Black Lager for Alberta and British Columbia (a small miracle). We bought our plane tickets and barreled into Canada for a weekend we’ll never forget.
