A study compiled by researchers from the University of Jaen in Spain found “that men are seen as less intimidating and threatening when holding a small dog than when alone,” according to an article in the Daily Mail.

So updating your profile pic on your various dating apps to a photo of you holding or cuddling a small dog may lead to more matches, more conversations, and more dates.
