Abe Lincoln wax sculpture gets roasted by the sun and the internet

Honest Abe might be getting more than he bargained for in the afterlife. A wax sculpture of the 16th U.S. President was commissioned by the DC arts. However, after temperatures in the nation’s capitol crept up into the ’90s, Abe began withering away.
The unfortunate positioning of the melted statue made for the perfect ‘gawk gawk 5000’ memes.
And with Hawk Tuah taking over the internet, this couldn’t have happened at a more opportune time.
