The good folks over at GetSafe conducted an incredibly curious survey recently, where they asked 2,000 Americans what crimes they would commit for money, hypothetically speaking. The villainies range from stealing candy or running a red light, to robbing a bank and committing the act of murder. The questions in themselves are uncomfortable ones, but the answers are quite shocking.
For example, only 40% of people would consider murdering someone for money, but 83% would happily run a red light – a potentially life-threatening act. Also, women are far less likely to kill someone for money, but if they went through with the act, they’d charge $400,000,000 more than a man would. The results below yield an intriguing glimpse of our deepest, darkest selves.
