On May 14th, theCHIVE and theCHIVERS raised $350,000 to build a special needs baseball diamond in Hutto, TX. You did it all for a 5-year-old fighter named DJ who had beaten brain cancer 3 times and wanted a place to play his favorite sport. The story would become national news, but locally it meant so much more. Young children with disabilities across Central Texas would now have a place to play thanks to the Chivers.
On September 20th, the Field of Dreams became a reality.
