I’ve long extolled the obvious health benefits and restorative properties of alcohol. When people comment on my unnaturally young looks, I always make sure to mention the preservative qualities of booze. For very different reasons it’s even made conversations with the ladies somewhat possible. Liquor is both the cause of and solution to most of life’s problems. It’s a regular renaissance tonic.
