Scientist and Harvard professor, Avi Loeb is attempting to prove his somewhat controversial hypothesis that interstellar debris has indeed made its way onto our planet.
His team is scraping the ocean floor for remnants of a 2014 meteor which was recorded by the U.S. government and subsequently logged by NASA.
