An Australian man recently flew halfway across the world so that he could have the insides of his outer ears removed, and every day we straying farther from the light. According to CALM Body Modifications Facebook page, the procedure is called a ‘conch removal’ and involves removing the middle bit of the outer ear, also known as the ‘concha.’
The practitioner who owns the studio wrote on social media that he was “humbled” to have been selected to perform the procedure, and even went so far as to set some “facts” straight.
