I think anyone who’s ever taken a sentence in another language and fed it into Google translate could pretty easily tell you that word for word translations doesn’t exactly work. Translating between languages is an art form, and we’re not here to celebrate that art form.
Instead, we’re here to look at literal translations between English and other languages (courtesy of the Facebook group Monolinguals are the worst), and the results are as bizarre as they are hilarious.
