Online crowdfunding has become a part of everyday life for better and worse. For better, it’s allowed for heartwarming stories about the internet coming together to help those in need. It’s even allowed for strange but cool projects like TV show revivals, brand-new technology, and more to be created. I’ve contributed to various funds over the years, whether it was helping a friend fund a short film or helping Mystery Science Theater 3000’s revival.
