Just when I finally think I have my life together, start some retirement planning and figure out the trajectory of my career, I find out that we’re overdue for a cataclysmic event that will wipe out humanity. Geez
According to the BBC, there’s a supervolcano that’s currently sitting beneath Wyoming, that tends to erupt every 600,000 years or so. And it’s been roughly that amount already. And it’s making noise.
So, we’re kinda, sorta fucked. But it’s not time to panic yet, because NASA has a plan.
