Former professional baseball pitcher Brandon McCarthy had a strange realization after looking at some old photos of people he knew from his past — they looked incredible old for their age. So he took to Twitter to see if he was the only person who had similar thoughts and it turns out he is far from alone on this belief. Now you could argue this is due to many factors: outdated clothes & hairstyles of the time, lack of image filters, less knowledge about the negative effects of things like poor diet and smoking, moisturizers were less-widely used, and on and I could go.
But still, when you take a gander at some of these old-tyme photos of people just a generation or two ago, it is crazy to see how much more “mature” people tended to appear.
But maybe that’s just me. What do you guys think?
