Actor & comedian Nick Kroll arrived in Austin’s SXSW, after missing his connector flight and ultimately losing all his luggage. It’s fair to say he’d seen better days. Despite the setback, Nick brought the laughs as we talked about his life, his career & his upcoming film ‘My Blind Brother‘, which just sold to Starz and will be premiering TBD in the near future!
Nick’s dime tour of his life, started back in his college days where he stumbled into the world of improv, and made pit-stops to discuss shows like ‘The League,’ ‘Kroll Show,’ and even ‘The Simpsons’ (Shout-out to the longest running American sitcom of all time). In addition, we were joined by writer/director, Sophie Goodhart (an absolute stunner, let the record show) who talked at length about their new film ‘My Blind Brother,’ which features the likes of Adam Scott and Jenny Slate. The film had us laughing from start to finish but was also sweet and surprisingly grounded in a believable world — thus avoiding the temptation for a “gimmick-driven” plot.
Congrats to Nick Kroll & Sophie Goodhart for making ‘My Blind Brother‘ which will have audiences raving in short order!
