This majestic beast is none other than Ben Weaver, better known as “Beaver” around the office. Some of you might recognize him from the Asking Couch, but he’s also known for absolutely loving wallets more than any man should (Yes, that’s an I heart wallets sign on his desk).
While his day job — if it can be called that — consists of managing strategic partnerships for The Chivery, he really spends his time researching, designing, living, eating, and breathing wallet culture. And Beaver doesn’t discriminate when it comes to this sort of thing. Bi-fold, Tri-fold, money clips, wallets with those little windows for your driver license, they’re all equal in his eyes. Beaver’s father designed wallets, and his father before him. He comes from a family of wallets.
To his credit, Beaver has helped make our Chive wallets the absolute best in the business and he hasn’t stopped beaming with pride talking about our new line for weeks. So much so that I feel obligated to showcase Beaver and his precious new leather wallets in a post. Everybody at theCHIVE HQ carries a Beaver wallet, and they really are pretty amazing.
