I remember my grandma fighting mad about gas going up to 97cents one day. lol Think about how much more we could do if gas was still under a buck!

The really sad part is that it wasn't all that long ago. I remember paying .99/gal 10 years ago when I was a poor pizza boy. Don't know how they do that job now with gas the price it is.

Respect your local pizza boy. Don't get tight on those tips people.

      • jeff

hell even in 06 i drove a little dodge neon and i could put five dollars in and drive around all weekend

    • clay

I remember driving out my way to get cheap gas for 96 cents because the good stuff was way too high at 99 cents.

    • Will

Blame the FED, then END THE FED

    • its_forge

      "What cost $.85 in 1980 would cost $2.22 in 2010. " http://www.westegg.com/inflation/

So adjusted for inflation it isn't that horrific. The rest is just profiteering by speculators and oil companies, is all.

  • Catherine

#4 Ahhh, I was champion at Heads Down, Thumbs Up at my primary school!!

    • Negron69

there needs to be a t shirt with this logo

    • hMMMM

I used to win all the time b/c I had the awesome skater undercut, so I would just look through my bangs and see who "thumbed me down". You obviously can't get it correct every time, or else the minions will catch on…

      • Trainwreck92

I would always look at their shoes to identify them.

  • jcvik92

  • MattKL

Really? Are you too young to remember Ferris Bueller's Day off or Trading Places or Spies Like us or Spaceballs or Top Secret?
I imagine you saw Clerks before On Her Majesty's Secret Service (Lazenby Bond, too)

  • Bob23

Anyone remember those, thermal shirts, that'll change color if you touched it…

    • McRo

Hypercolor t-shirts, and they were cool…..until you washed them.

      • Bob

Or sweated and everyone knew lol

      • its_forge

Right after that hit big, when was it like the mid 90s? I saw one of the uber-cool kids walking around the mall in those JNCO pants and a plain old tie-dyed t-shirt that said "HIPPERCOLOR: Don't do jack" and I laughed my butt off.
