Remember your epic childhood way back when? (35 Photos)

  • GremlinPrince

#9 I had most of them… but not all of them 😦

    • jorge

      I still have a few

      • Josh

I had a WWF ring and about 25-30 wrestlers and my mom sold it for $5.00 at a garage sale a couple of years ago….bummed my kids would have had a blast with them.

    • holleywierd

Sadly I have over 400 non duplicates…worthy investment though thanks to ebay.

  • murphy pendleton

    #4 had it……it was awesome

    • Cavok

      Still have it!! Still awesome!

I also had this. I would shoot my brothers in the face all the time.

  • etcrr

#22 still not as gay as twilight

    • MattKL

These days only girls dress like that. So was it just a progression of culture, or a gay vision of the future(not that there's anything wrong with that).

      • Luke

        Of course not

    • MonkeyMadness

      What group is this?

      • 2Dogs

        the "wee weenies"

      • CxDx

Kingpin. They later changed their name to Shotgun Messiah and released two kick ass albums.

Why do I know this? Because I'm a sad, strange little man.

        • Average John

"Why do I know this? Because I'm a sad, strange little man."……That literally made me COL (chuckle out loud). Thank you. πŸ™‚

        • Hank

The guy on the left looks like Jimmy Fallon.

        • sfb101

I must be too! Shotgun Messiah Rocked!

    • rynaldo

no doubt, who the fuck is this>?

    • asdf

true, but it's getting pretty close I'd say.

      • Bash Joker

Believe it or not, it's Pantera.

        • 2Dogs

          without phil though ithink

        • john v.

nice one. lol. at least someone is awake & alert this morning.

        • Jonathan Sears

That is not Pantera. Vinny was never that skinny and even in their hair metal days, he still had facial hair.

It does look like Steel Panthers dad's tho.

    • dashete

Glam rock was glam rock. Based on what they did with their groupies, probably the least gay scene in music history. Especially Motley Crue.

    • Gazza

Nope wrong on all counts….the band was called Kingpin who later changed their name to Shotgun Messiah. Terribly gay outfits when they started out but pretty cool music if you're into the whole hair metal thing. The bass player (second from the left) went on to play for Marilyn Manson for some time.

      • fourdegrees

OK, well, that led to some time on Wikipedia. TYVM. Turns out that guy ended up being a bit of a badass. Based on the outfits, I wouldn't have seen that coming…

He played with KMFDM, too, and can play damn near anything you need in the industrial scene. Makes him good in my book.

        • JHL1

And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes.

    • saltygary

The guy on the left looks like he just saw himself ion the mirror and threw up in his mouth. Or he just took it in the ass and is a little sore.

    • Momo

      • guest

I thought it was him at first too!…Doing a skit for his show or SNL or something.

        • Basil Wadsworth

First thing I thought too–good eye!

          • JHL1

Jimmy Fallon was 10 or 11 years old when that picture was taken.

      • Y35

And the gu/ay in pink tights+crazy yellow baby look looks like Marky "Mark" Wahlberg..

    • jhans13

      Jimmy Fallon on the left?????

    • 16inchzipper

      Jimmy Fallon on the left?

    • CxDx

    • tron

as soon as I saw this picture, I knew the first comment I was gonna see was that! πŸ˜‰

    • Logicyup

Sweaty men in tights was never my thing so I'm always clueless when it comes to these things. My ex on the other hand could probably put most guys to shame with her knowledge on this stuff. I managed to convert her to being a football fan so it all worked out.

    • josh

You wish, ric flair > hart

      • DrewskiDrew

That was his catch phrase. I do think Ric Flair is the best ever.

        1. Ric Flair
        2. Hulk Hogan(Even though I didn't realize how much of a douche he was until now)
        3. Stone Cold Steve Austin
        4. Shawn Micheals
        5. Bret Hart

        • Underbaker

I would put Hogan on the bottom, he had good mic skills but sucked in the ring.

    • jeff donuts

pfff yea right . stone cold steve austin was the best. he stone cold stunnered mcmahon and he drank beer

      • TDub66

    • guest

  • Safety Salamander

#34 Legend has it that the blue end could rub out pen, but it never worked for me it just made me frustrated.

    • TGnotLG

You know what left me frustrated in my childhood? When my Uncle Al molested me. Not only did it make me feel dirty and that it was MY fault, but it also gave me this peculiar desire to remove my clothes for Chivers to behold…….like LG! Since I have some self-esteem, I didn't bother.

      • Johnny K.

Jesus… You really should talk to someone about that… Try the old guy in the windowless van by the river with "free candy" written across the side…

      • roflcop

i loled at this comment, and then i saw you wrote 'pen', not 'peen'. not as funny.

    • longshot421

I believe the blue end was actually just for tearing holes in the page. That's how it worked for me.

      • Boobman

Pink-n-Ink sounds like a strip club.

        • longshot421

          ….with a tattoo parlor attached.

          • Bobestradamus

The ink covers the emotional scars

  • USSS Chiver

    Caps! Caps for sale!
Hm. That's the first post I've made that wasn't prompted by a hot chick or a BFM shirt. Win?

    • CanuckChiver

  • Beena

    I cried so HARD!

    • Logicyup

Used to watch the movie when ever i was home sick as a kid before I grew up some and switched to Ferris Buellers day off. If I wanted to creep myself out I'd watch Dark Crystal.

      • Beena

Still can't watch Dark Crystal, it freaks me out

    • SmokinLamb

    • Lisa

I still can't watch that scene

    • JT Mo-nay

I used to think "Man, what a great actor that kid is.", until later I realized that he wasn't acting, he scared out of his mind because he was stuck in the elevator contraption that was lowering the horse.

  • Trav1121

#18 Never had the album but whenever I think of them, I'll always be reminded of the rant from American Psycho. πŸ™‚

    • Doreen Manning

Try getting a reservation at the Dorsea.

    • AndreLei

For me it's back to the future.

      • Trav1121

Don't think 'Power of Love' was on that album, but, for the band, yeah. πŸ™‚

      • AsciiAdam

Same, that is the only song I can remember from that band. Loved the movie and the song.

        • Underbaker

ba-bumb ba-bumb ba-bumb (What about The Heart of Rock and Roll?)

    • Skip

reminds me when Futurama ripped on that album in "The luck of the Fryrish" episode (with the 7 leaf clover. one of my favs).
