FML. all I ever had were brown paper bags with my name on them

    • WTF

Me too. And I had to bring my paper bag back home so that it could be used again. Same with the wax paper the sandwich was wrapped in. And if those wore out before the end of the month, I had to carry my sandwich in my pocket. And if the jelly leaked and stained my shirt, I had to cover it up with adhesive tape since I only had one shirt to wear in between monthly washes. (Seriously though, we always thought kids that carried their lunch in a box were pussies. )

If they're not metal, they're not VINTAGE!!

  • Seldi84

#7 I had that till it broke. I was devastated.
#41 Had this one too but in green.

    • Chris

I had these same 2 also. Brings back memories…

  • Mark

Wow. Scrolling through, I can honestly say that I recall either seeying or owning 2/3 of these in the past. Things were just so much simpler than weren't they?

    • r00s7a

Yeah… if you consider $50 "major bucks"

  • Toddzilla

I still have my Star Wars box with thermos, had to beat up some kid for trying to steal it way back in the 3rd grade! Good Times!

#9 I remember having this one back in the day – come to think of it, I still may have it somewhere in my garage.

    • Wedgism

You wouldnt want to leave that thermos in the work fridge if you worked in transport

    What! No Godzilla!

  • VAChiver

So, TMNT, Power Rangers, and Jurassic Park are considered vintage now?

Fuck, I must be getting old.

    Thanks, Chive.

According to my daughter, NSYNC is now "classic". So, I can relate.

#25 I'm pretty sure I had this one when I was a kid. I know I had that Hot Wheels car. I was addicted to those things.

#18 And don't forget to take your vitamins Hulkamaniacs!

    • ThatGuy

And by vitamins he means steroids.

    #37 WTF is this monstrosity?

On another note…I always felt like the plastic ones were just posers. If you didn't have something you could carry your lunch in and use to knock somebody unconscious, what's the point?

#37 WHO THE FUCK SAYS THIS IS VINTAGE!!!!!?????? FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SnackPacks

Gahhh I fucking hated when my friends found the notes my mom left in my lunchbox. I used to think she was such a bitch for doing that.

    • peanut3603

Haha, my mom use to do the same thing. I would get embarrassed but looking back I now realize how awesome my mom is.

  • TheBAMFinater

#2 I had that one as a kid. Metal lunch boxes were awesome.

  • Smokey

#6 so…How do you light the dynamite underwater?

    • Alumni72

Notice the round spiky things behind Joe – they are mines. They blow up too, champ. Underwater.
