There are a lot of abandoned places all over the world, but there’s something special about an abandoned island. If you’re going through the trouble of bringing things over to it and developing a civilization, why abandon it? Isn’t owning your own private island the dream? Man if I had access to an abandoned island that was my own, I’d do some crazy shit and love every second of it. Not so for these islands.
