Chances are, you or someone very dear to you has been touched by the effects of cancer. I have personally lost two family members to cancer. I remember watching them both wilt away as they fought, my god did they ever fight — myself and my family, fighting right along with them. In the end, they didn’t succumb to cancer, they moved on to better things in spite of it.
One of our very own is fighting and shining on right now, never letting the disease dim his spirit. For him, for you, for me, and for everyone else who has been a part of the fight, never give up. You are loved and you will live on. This post is a celebration of life, as much as it is a big middle finger to cancer. I hope it gives you a little hope, even when reading the stories of those who succumbed to the disease.
