As an adult, I’m pretty immune to the feelings of disappointment in others, when it comes to me. Sure, my mom doesn’t get what I do and questions how I can make a living writing about vegetables (because she thinks that TheCHIVE has something to with onions and garlic, and less about the 3 H’s), and my wife doesn’t care for me looking at model’s instagrams all day long, but I can shake that off.
What I can’t shake off, is this look from my dog. Fucking can’t do it. And neither can Twitter user @KaelyrianSteel. She posted a picture of her dog after she was out running errands and it’s devastating.
That look breaks my heart, and people started sharing the disappointed looks their dogs give. They’ll give your mom a run for her money.
