One of the things that defines us as compassionate humans, is our capacity for empathy. When we see someone in trouble, or something that needs our help, we feel something and want to help. This is generally the case for other human beings and animals, but sometimes, we also feel it for an inanimate object.
Sure, when we were kids, we thought that our stuffed animals were alive, and it makes sense without our ability for childlike wonder, but what about adults? As it turns, out, grown-ups feel it too.
Gotta hand it to these people and their beautiful hearts.
