I’ve never worked retail, but my best friend from college did work retail. The stories he told me about Black Friday weren’t the worst things I’d heard, but he was barely awake at the end of his shift and couldn’t remember ringing up customers for about an hour even though he’d been doing just that.
Not a great time, but not nearly as horrible as what follows.
