There’s nothing that makes me happier as a cinephile, than to see a truly original piece of work on screen. So, of course, I loved Rian Johnson’s Knives Out. It’s a modern classic, and mixes that old-school ‘whodunnit’ feel with Rian’s unique filmmaking sensibilities. And frankly, one movie isn’t enough. We want more.
So while the film wraps up it’s wonderful mystery, Johnson’s been talking about turning Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc into a franchise, so he and the studio took to Twitter to solicit some titles.
I honestly think there’s a winner in several of these ideas.
