It’s easy to forget, with all the things that we’re not able to do while stuck indoors, that there are people that have it far worse off than us. Depending on where you are, you might still have the freedom to go outside to grab groceries, have some fresh air, or get a run in, but many others are on complete lockdown.
Anyone who’s already immunocompromized, for example, or in their twilight years are at a far higher risk and encouraged to not leave their homes under any circumstances. They can’t go shopping, visit loved ones, or even get their hair done, and that can get increasingly lonely. Especially, since it’s risky if people come to them too.
Which leaves elderly people to have to figure things out on their own, or take care of tidying themselves up at home.
