And the character of each city’s oldest buildings echo the hopes, dreams and conflicts experienced by our ancestors, who came to the country in the hopes of a better life.
So what are these super-old buildings? According to NetCredit, these are the oldest structures in the top 100 cities in the US, based on US Census data. We’ve got mud huts, Spanish Revival missions and even a colonial mansion that was the capital city of a short-lived micro state.
