If there’s any trope that I absolutely hate in a romcom/Hallmark Christmas movie, is that you find love when you least expect it, and it all goes down like a fucking fairy tale. Or somehow, if you’re that last remaining friend, in a group of friends that’s all paired up, married and popping out babies, that love will find you. It’s all bullshit. Dating is hard. Finding the right person after a certain age is nearly impossible, and sliding into someone’s Twitter DMs is always going to end badly.
But, after today, I stand corrected. A Hallmark movie happened in real life. Once.
Which means it could happen again and love can soon blossom in this sad little world of 2020. Congrats Terry & Katie!
