We all could use a good laugh these days. This week the people of Calgary woke up and found plaques with “historical facts” had been attached to benches in Bowmont Park. Following protocol, the plaques were removed by the city. That sparked an outcry from Calgarians who were thankful to find some humour in today’s world. The city listened and Mayor Nenshi had all of the plaques put back. Have a look at them all below.
